How We Report ResultsUpdated a month ago
Pet owners have 24/7 online access to their pet's test results via their MySimplePetLab account and can email a PDF report to their vet or others directly from their account. Our test result reports are designed to be easy for pet parents to understand while meeting the professional standards and language veterinarians expect from reference labs.
The lab report includes:
- Pet owner, pet, and test identification
- Photographic evidence of positive microscopic findings
- Results legend
- Symptom survey results
Symptom Surveys
During online test activation, pet owners answer a series of questions about their pet and the sample. These observations, recorded at the time of sample collection, provide valuable context for local or virtual veterinarians if the report is shared with them.
While pet owners can update their answers anytime, it’s best to document observations immediately after collection to ensure accuracy.
Please note: The laboratory does NOT review these answers, and they do NOT impact how the sample is processed or the test performed. These responses are intended to help the pet owner and their veterinarian interpret the test results more effectively.
Results Legend
Our results legend is designed to help pet parents quickly understand the severity of test results and take the right next steps. With color-coded results and a clear legend, we aim to make results easy to interpret for pet owners while providing veterinarians with standardized reporting. This ensures consistency in results, regardless of the laboratory technician process the sample and reading results.
